Service Description

Using the uniquely luminous medium of graphite and chalk on toned paper, students will practice an observational approach to figure drawing prioritizing shape design and light impression. The first two weeks will cover values, measuring, basic proportions, and light logic in short pose exercises. Equipped with a skillset and logical procedure cultivated in the preceding two weeks, the final two sessions will see the students produce a single long pose of the nude figure.
