
Aftercare Instructions
Please Use The Healing Method That Was Discussed With Your Artist
Lotion
Wash
• Remove bandage every 5 to 6 hours
• Wash your Tattoo with antibacterial soap
• Rinse with warm water
• Let Tattoo air dry 2 minutes
• Apply a thin layer of Aquaphor
• Re-bandage before bed, wear all night
• In the morning wash, rinse, repeat
• Repeat re-bandaging for 48hrs
• After 48hrs remove the bandage
• Wash and rinse the Tattoo
Peel
• Apply lotion, repeat 3 times daily until
• Tattoo starts to peel allow flakes to fall off
• Don’t pick at the flakes or any scabbing
• Once flakes are gone keep applying lotion
• Don’t exercise or sweat excessively
• Sweat can cause infection or fallout
• Once healed apply sunblock when outside
• Do not swim with a fresh or healing tattoo
• Keep fresh Tattoo away from the sun
Derm
Apply
• Clean and dry the tattoo thoroughly
• Cut the bandage to the desired length and shape
• “Crack” the wave by bending the piece in half
• Expose the sticky side by peeling off the backing
• Leave an extra inch on each side of the tattoo
• If using multiple pieces overlap at least one inch
• Remove clear backing and smooth over skin
• Smooth bandage over tattoo pushing out air bubbles
• If plasma builds up, remove bandage and repeat
• Leave second bandage on for 3-6 days
Remove
• Remove bandage in the shower
• Find an edge of the bandage
• Pull it back in the direction of hair growth
• Slowly pull the film off
• Do not pull it straight up away from the skin
• If redness, discontinue use immediately
• After 24 hours, plasma can build up
• If so, remove the bandage and repeat
• Leave second bandage on for 3-6 days
• Clean and moisturize
Dry Heal
Wash

You have been tattooed in a professional studio.
It is up to you to make sure the tattoo heals properly by following the Aftercare Instructions. It’s common to have slight discomfort, redness, and/or swelling after your tattoo. Seek prompt medical attention if you have any of the following as they may be signs of infection: extreme redness and or swelling, extreme pain or pus like drainage.
