I’m a Realism & Portraiture Tattoo Artist, with a side of Dog Lover and a sprinkle of Nerdiness. While I’d say my true passion is Black and Grey Pet/Animal Portraits, I also really enjoy the creepy Horror/Sci-fi stuff too.  Let’s create something EPIC!!!

Bio

Dog lover, tree hugger, perfectionist, music junkie, sci-fi & horror nerd—I’ve heard it all.

Born and raised in Detroit, I was originally headed toward engineering before my rebellious streak pulled me into Art School, where I earned degrees in Design and Illustration. Music soon followed, and my band’s DIY hustle eventually landed us a deal with Universal Records, which then led to years of touring worldwide.

After the band ended, I moved to Chicago in 2004 and began my tattoo apprenticeship in 2007. A few years into tattooing, an opportunity in Concept Illustration and Creature Design brought me to Los Angeles to work for a Special FX Studio…but California had bigger plans. Just two weeks after arriving, I was invited to work at Kat Von D’s High Voltage Tattoo/LA Ink, where I spent the next decade surrounded by world-class artists who helped push my craft to another level.

In 2020, I relocated to Phoenix and opened my private studio, Hallowed Earth, while simultaneously pursuing my quest for knowledge, by earning a degree in Audio Engineering and later becoming a Music Instructor at PVCC. Today, I’m proud to call North Mountain Tattoo my Home/Family. The Owner (Dan), has not only curated an incredibly well crafted powerhouse of Tattooers, but the shop is built around Creativity, Growth, and a true Passion for ART (AKA. Dream Come True)!

My goal as an Artist here at North Mountain Tattoo is simple: Create tattoos that feel personal, lasting, and artistically inspired while giving clients a space where they can disconnect from the chaos of everyday life and fully immerse themselves in creativity.

I believe that if every piece is better than the last, and you never stop challenging yourself, you’ll never stop growing as an artist.
